My dream last night centered around a specialty shop in which food was created from formulas you put into a machine. The first machine created a chocolate milk shake from thin air. The shelves were full of unique foods created by the machines and formulas you could mix and match to make foods that don't exist in the real world. In my dream, my family and I actually had one of these machines in the barn. We had a large table set up with people all around it and the machine at the end. Apparently we had inherited it from grandparents on my mother's side. All kinds of wonderful foods were coming out of the machine and onto our plates. In the meantime we were searching through lost family archives and finding heirlooms that were thought to have been lost.
I also dreamed something about an adventure park where I was with 3 women. There were rides and strange happenings. We had a hotel room that we retreated to each evening. It was almost like a camp. One event, a bunch of junker cards were driving up the tops of some oil barrels and falling back into a lake. They would crash and back out and run up the ramp again. I was watching from a hill and nearly got run over a couple of times. There were a lot more details to this dream... but I dont' have time to write them all down and don't remember them all and how they fit together at this point. A video cell phone was part of the dream.
I was going to a butterfly festival with a group of church people. We were in competition with other teams to build something. I still don't know what we were building, but it had a center with walls that were to go around it. We needed glue, so I ran out to find the correct store. I arrived back unsuccessfully and asked whether I could go to a closer store that had the same items. I was to buy all the different kinds of glue in the store and was given $6.00. Upon arrival to the store, there were only 2 kinds of glue and a man wanted the rubber cement in my hand so I gave it to him. I didn't purchase one in the sales bin because it was dried up. I went back to the team and the glue wasn't right so the leader went and bought the dried glue I had passed up. The next day I had to work so didn't plan to go to the event. Where I worked there was a long lane with a circle at the end. On the left were two older buildings and on the right was some kind of newer building. It appeared to be a university. My building was the second on the left. The way I got in was to go down an old outside corridor and up a rope into a small window. At the window was some type of window decoration I had done years ago that was now falling apart, but had once been a great piece of work. On climbing up the rope, my boss arrived to unlock the door below. I yelled down at him a greeting. I realized he had a child with him. After yelling I realized I was completely naked and hid to put on a t-shirt. Somehow, by the time I went downstairs I was fully clothed. I hadn't seen the child in a long time and he had grown, his voice deepened. He looked much older than his age. I asked if he was 13 and he said he was 12. He looked to be at least 17. We went across to a corral of some sort where my boss had a friend. He held my hand on the way over and asked if I still had a boyfriend. I said no. My cats were following me over and I became afraid my female cat would become pregnant. I caught her and put her in the house. My boss sent me away to the festival since another employee had done all the work. He bragged at how great she was on the computer. Upon leaving, I witnessed a greyhound bus entering the drive. It went around the loop and I noticed a bag hanging loose from the back. Before I could stop it, a wallet fell out of the bag. I picked up the wallet and looked for identification and purposed to contact the owner. At that moment the bus came back and I was able to stop the driver and give him the wallet. Two older ladies got off the bus and were tourists. They asked about butterflies and I told them there was a butterfly festival going on just over the ridge. I began to take them there. We had to go over some canals. I was surprised at how quickly the elder women ran and left me behind in the canals. An old friend of mine came up in a boat and I rode around the canals with her awhile. She had to measure the depth of each inlet with a rock anchor. It also measured something by how much algae it collected. I never did make it back to the butterfly festival.
