I have very creative and descriptive dreams every night. I decided it would be kinda cool to write them down.

    Somerset and Burnside
I dreamed Bob and I were in Somerset Kentucky last night and we were walking down Hwy. 27 with me. It had changed soooo much. They had added amusement parks and bars and different kinds of stores. We walked by a beautiful park with a huge patio. Bob became very frightened. He said it was too quiet there. As I began looking around I realized the few people who were around were very rough people. It became apparent the park had become a place to get high and rowdy. One guy had a gadget on his hand that triggered out metal claws on his knuckles. Another person was breaking a park bench. We walked by hurriedly. I wished it wasn't so dangerous there. I wanted to sit in the park and buy stuff to eat and drink at the restaurant nearby.

I had catalogues from some of the stores and there was an accordian for $92 at one of them. I went to order it and they were out of them. I also was doing work for someone at a screen print shop and another one down the road too. Both were considering hiring me. I wasn't desperate for a job because I still had the job at Vanderbilt. There was lots of eye candy though. I was creating stuff like machine parts and some guy was working on machines telling the boss that he should hire me and not just keep me on the fringes anymore. All in all it was another interesting dream.

    Game Show
I dreamt I was a game show contestan. The show consisted of various contests. One was a foot race where you had to touch various colored leggo type things on the ground as you ran the race. We stood forever at the start getting ready to run, then standing still because of false starts. In the end they announced I had won (and i never even ran the race). The prize was a beautifully woven art tapestry and a trip to my favorite place in the world. I chose Somerset, KY. Another contest was climbing down a ladder. I came to a dead end and was trying to find another ladder. There was some kind of quiz in front of me and I had to solve it, but I was barely hanging on with my fingertips and I found it impossible to play the game. After that we hiked down to the headquarters then I hiked up to the house where I spent the night before the next day planning my overnight stay in Somerset, KY with the game show hosts. The male host of the show told me I had helped him see a whole new perspective about favorite places. I told him the people in Somerset were wonderful and he'd see why I chose them. I also was excited to bring some adventure to the town. I asked if we would have a big televised party. He said he wanted to meet the people first. He mimicked someone from Somerset saying "Welcome to Somerset". I corrected him on his accent and said it the way they say it there. In Somerset we passed my old church and I hesitated to take them in. I wasn't sure if they would get a grand welcome from the office or be put off as pests. Better to wait until we had access to the larger congregation who would certainly appreciate being chosen by me. I decided to take them to my former work place instead where I knew everyone would be excited. I thought of Burnside Island where we could camp. We had packed meagerly and were set up to do wilderness stuff.... Oh... while I was in the house we were playing some kind of a game with vegetables and fruits. Jenny and me were trying to show the female game show host how our female relationships worked. She said that the male host didnt' like for her to have friends... he gets jealous. Jenny (a black coworker) and I showed her how the tomatoes (representing friends) lined up in a row and made energy (like the game JLines that I play too much of!!). She then gathered all the tomatoes and threw the bag in the corner. I was hungry and asked if I could have one. There were grapefruit in there too. I asked if she wanted them. She gave me the whole bag. The tomato I ate was deep red in color and very juicy and tasty. Yummmm. We were all singing gospel music and harmonizing beautifully. It was so much fun! After that we went down to the pond. She showed us her fish. Some of them were mean and she said not to touch them. We watched the fish eat. There was a single girl in a canoe on the lake. It was explained that she had decided to join our wilderness excursion after initially turning it down. She had invited people to go on the lake with her, but no one knew her yet.We also watched a crab molt it's shell by hooking with a lobster and using its claw. It was floating before. When it molted I could see it swimming below, then it grabbed onto my foot. It didn't hurt because it was a soft shell. I shook it off and we all laughed. We went back to feeding the fish and then back up to the house.

    Findiing Valuable Things
The theme in my dream last night was about finding valuable things.
We-a bunch of us- were on a project for work. We went to some kind of food tasting amusement park and were disappointed. Mom was there with a friend. Mark was there with me. At one point he decided to go visit his father's grave. I decided to tag after him, but had difficulty finding him. On the way I found a horse lead rope and halter. It was very nice and I felt lucky. After visiting Mark's church and trying to find him, I left looking for him. I found all kinds of wood carved items and doors, etc. The company that produced them was in danger of being closed because of the mess behind their shop. Their refuse was gorgeous. Bed headboards, doors, etc. Everything was worth hauling away.
